Sports day at Share Vauxhall a hit
We do love a sports day! Last month we enjoyed a fun-packed inclusive event at our Vauxhall site where students and staff got involved with exciting activities like basketball, football, hockey, and tennis. We also had fun with some parachute games, trying to balance a ball on top of the parachute and running underneath it. And students competed to see who could throw a bean bag the furthest and raced to collect items in a hula hoop challenge.
When it was time for a break, everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch courtesy of our talented chefs and catering students at the Share Community Café. It was the perfect way to recharge before jumping back into the action.
Huge thanks to coach Marvin at the Black Prince Community Trust who helped make the basketball sessions so much fun, encouraging our students to get stuck in, it was great to see them giving their all and cheering each other on.
One of the great advantages of having a site at the Black Prince Trust is the use of their excellent sports facilities, and we look forward to hosting more sports events in the future.
