Who we are

Share Community is a registered charity dedicated to empowering adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs to live happier, healthier, and more independent lives.

Founded in 1972, Share operates in south London, with our head office near Clapham Junction and additional sites in Tooting, Brixton, and Vauxhall. Each year, we support around 170 people primarily from the London Boroughs of Wandsworth, Lambeth, Southwark, Croydon, and Merton, although we accept residents from any borough.

We focus on expanding choices for every student through inclusive programmes and activities that promote personal development and independent living skills. For those seeking specific job training, we also offer vocational courses leading to recognised qualifications.

Our social enterprises in catering and horticulture offer students the opportunity to gain practical work skills in a safe, supportive environment while providing valuable services to the community.

We're committed to celebrating individuality and providing person-centred support. Working closely with every student, we help them identify and work towards their personal goals, fostering a sense of inclusion, value, and ambition.

At Share, we strive to create a nurturing and secure space where students can build confidence, form friendships, and develop essential life skills, empowering them to thrive and achieve their aspirations.
