Volunteering is a chance to make a difference, develop new skills and make new friends.

Share was awarded the Investing in Volunteers quality standard in early 2023, recognising our commitment to excellent volunteer management.

Our approach is inclusive, welcoming, and flexible. We strive to accommodate individual needs by making reasonable adjustments to voluntary roles where needed, ensuring everyone can contribute in a way that works for them.

Previously, we also received a Best Practice in Volunteering Award from Lifetimes, an organisation that supports voluntary and community activity in Wandsworth. They were impressed by the support, training, recognition and reward that we give to our volunteers.

Corporate volunteering

Corporate volunteering is a great way to boost employee happiness, and it can be a huge help to charities like us.

We can cater to a range of requests from companies who want to get involved and support us.

I love the values and ethos of Share, it’s a real model of how society should be, I feel really proud to play my part and know I’m making a difference to someone’s life
