Come and meet us at Wandsworth's annual Brighter Living Fair

Wandsworth’s adult social care team is holding their annual free Brighter Living event in September for people with care and support needs.

The event in the Wandsworth Civic Suite on September 20 will have more than 30 stalls from local charities, businesses and community groups where you can browse information and find out about local support. Visitors can try out a number of activities, such as fitness and movement classes, find out about how to keep safe at home, and take part in a digital workshop.

You can also chat to council staff directly about key local services and take part in a ‘Your Day Your Say’ workshop to give your views and help shape services in the future.

Share will be there to showcase our learning, living and wellbeing programmes designed to help those with learning disabilities realise their potential and live happier, healthier lives. If you’d like details about the different courses we offer and wish to arrange a specific time at the event to discuss this please contact Gabrielle Antoniou on gabriellea@sharecommunity.org.uk or call  020 7801 9812.

The council’s cabinet member for health and social care Cllr Melanie Hampton said: “The first Brighter Living Fair last year was a great success with more than 200 people going along to find out what support is available in Wandsworth to help them stay healthy, active and independent."

We’d love to see you there!
