Share's gardening team have been working hard over the past few months to get the glorious Share Garden ready and looking its absolute best for a packed programme of summer events. And you're invited! With a little something for everyone, we very much hope you will join us for some if not all of these events.
 Saturday 20th May 2017. From 10am to 4pm. Plant Sale and Healthy Living Community Day. With a large stock of veggie, herb and bedding plants, free healthy living sessions in movement dance, yoga and mindfulness/meditation, cappella singing from Treblemakers and a pop-up café serving delicious healthy foodie treats, specially prepared by Share's catering students. This event is FREE to attend, but places are limited for the free sessions, so if you would like to book a place for any of these classes, please email kavitab@sharecommunity.org.uk or telephone 020 7801 9821, specifying which session you would like to attend to avoid disappointment.  Sunday 18th June 2017. From 10am to 5pm. Open Garden Squares Weekend. The Share Garden is once again open for Open Garden Squares Weekend. This year, we are very excited to have our very own Poet in Residence for the event, Andrea Robinson. Andrea is an artist, writer, printmaker and South London allotment gardener, and uses many forms and media to tell personal stories. Andrea will be in the Share Garden throughout the day finding inspiration, words and stories for our guests. What will you find in the Share Garden? Find out more about Open Garden Squares Weekend
 Tuesday 20th June 2017. From 11.30am to 3pm. Share's Summer Garden Party. With fun and games, music and dance, for our students, their family and friends, as well as our partners and supporters in the community. And, of course, our great summer raffle with some super prizes to be won!
With a scrumptious lunch once again kindly sponsored by members of the Tooting Business Network in association with the Khalsa Centre in Tooting who have supported Share for more than 10 years. Register for Share's Summer Garden Party
 Thursday 22nd June 2017. From 5.30pm to 8.30pm. Share's Evening in the Garden. With drinks and canapés from Share Catering. A fundraising and networking evening for the local community and an opportunity for us to say thank you to all those who help to make Share simply amazing. Register for Share's Evening in the Garden

London Marathon 2017 – thank you to everyone who donated to Share
 We'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who donated towards Share trustee Phoebe Scriven's bid to run the London Marathon. With your help, Phoebe raised £2690 including Gift Aid for which we are immensely grateful, and which will help us to provide more fitness and healthy living activities for our students.
And thank you SO much to Phoebe as well for giving her all in the London Marathon. We can't thank her enough for everything she does for Share – her support and commitment to Share over the years epitomises what Share is all about, helping our community to grow to make a difference in people's lives every day.

Parents/Carers' May 2017 meeting
 A reminder for all parents/carers of students attending Share that the next Share Carers’ Group Meeting will take place from 11.00am to 12.30pm on Wednesday 24th May 2017 at Share HQ.
Join us for some coffee and cake, and share your ideas and challenges with peers and Share staff, and tell us how we can help you to support the person you care for better.
These meetings take place every two months. See our website for further information and the dates of all future meetings.
